Bhaja Caves
One of the oldest rock-cut caves in India, dating to the 2nd century BCE. The Bhaja Caves feature 22 rock-cut caves including a large Chaitya hall and several viharas with beautiful stupas and ancient inscriptions.
The unique feature here is a group of 14 stupas, five inside and nine outside the caves. The carvings on the veranda pillars depict scenes from daily life, battle scenes, and musicians.

Lohagad Fort
A historic hill fort rising to 1,033 meters above sea level, Lohagad ("Iron Fort") has a storied past spanning the Satavahana, Chalukya, Rashtrakuta, and Maratha dynasties. Shivaji Maharaj used this fort as a strategic stronghold and treasury.
The trek to the top is moderate (about 1 hour) and rewards hikers with spectacular 360-degree views of Pawna Dam, Visapur Fort, and the surrounding Sahyadri range.

Visapur Fort
The twin fort of Lohagad, Visapur stands taller at 1,084 meters and is larger in area. Built by the Peshwas in 1713, it offers a more challenging trek with caves, cisterns, and ruins of old buildings dotting the expansive plateau at the summit.
During monsoon, multiple waterfalls cascade down the fort walls, making it a popular trekking destination for adventure enthusiasts.

Tiger's Leap (Tiger Point)
One of Lonavala's most famous viewpoints, Tiger's Leap offers a dramatic cliff-edge view of a deep valley with the cliff formation resembling a leaping tiger. The viewpoint is accessible by road and offers stunning sunset views.
During monsoon, mist rolls up from the valley creating an ethereal atmosphere. Multiple waterfalls become visible from this vantage point, making it a photographer's paradise.

Lonavala Lake
