In short
The Ekvira Devi Temple at Karla is administered by a devasthan trust. We have not yet confirmed the Trust's official details with the Trust itself, so this page is a placeholder — the registered name, registration number, governance, office address, contact and initiatives will be added here once they are officially provided and verified.
How the temple is administered
Like most established Hindu shrines in Maharashtra, the Ekvira Devi Temple is looked after by a devasthan trust — a charitable body responsible for the day-to-day running of the temple, the upkeep of the site, the conduct of rituals and festivals, and the welfare arrangements for devotees. We want the information we publish about that body to be accurate and authorised, so we are holding this page until the Trust confirms its own particulars.
What we will add once confirmed
When the Trust provides verified information, we intend to publish the following on this page:
- The Trust's registered name and registration number.
- Its governance — office bearers, trustees and how the Trust is constituted.
- The registered office address and official contact details.
- The Trust's initiatives — conservation, devotee facilities, festival management and any community work.
Until each of these is confirmed in writing with the Trust, we will not state it. We would rather show nothing than publish an unverified registration number, office bearer or address.
Reported, pending official confirmation
The points below appear in public news reporting. We list them only so visitors understand the current state of public information — they are reported, pending official confirmation, and should not be treated as authoritative until verified with the Trust:
- The Trust is commonly referred to in public sources as "Shree Ekveera Devsthan Trust", Karla. Reported, pending official confirmation.
- A chief trustee was named in 2025 news reporting in connection with the temple's announcements. Reported, pending official confirmation.
How to reach the Trust meanwhile
Until official contact details are confirmed, the most reliable way to reach the Trust is through its official social channels:
